The thought behind this ceramic tableware was taking a disused nostalgic object and applying it in modern, practical design.
At home, dozens of chairs made by my grandparents are stacked somewhere in the back of a garage. I used parts of these to create moulds for creating ceramic tableware. This way, furniture that otherwise wouldn’t be anything but nostalgic is given a new function in everyday life.
